Beds for Everyone

Nine rooms are available to guests on 35 wooded acres with a hilltop view of Iowa's seasonal transitions. Located just three miles from the Mississippi River on the Great River Road, this retreat location is convenient for groups who want to do a hobby together, relax, or check out this beautiful part of our country.

Crafting Room

Ten folding tables (6 or 8 foot), large format color wireless printer, Cricut Maker, paper cutter, hanging tabletop electrical outlets with USB charging ports, tabletop task lighting, rectangular quilting ironing boards and different-sized design walls for lay-out of your quilt pieces, and other supplies are all provided for your preferred hobby: scrapbooking, quilting, rug making, or just plain catching up with friends or family.

Around the Grounds

The large outdoor deck and fire pit area inside the circle drive has seating for guests to eat, barbecue, or 'catch up on what's been happening.' Guests often see Iowa's best in nature: deer, turkeys, rabbits, and squirrels on the grounds, as ducks, geese, and eagles fly overhead. Depending on the season, visitors can hike through the woods and grounds in hopes of finding edible mushrooms, wild raspberries, asparagus, rhubarb, black walnuts, and apples.
